Clayton Bay Escapes took part in a display at both the Royal Adelaide Show and The Boating, Fishing and 4x4 Shows at Wayville in Adelaide. We were promoting our own activities, the Alexandrina Waterways and the Wooden Boat Association of South Australia.

These photographs show the display we put on at the BFand 4x4 show. Echo, our Canoe Yawl, Comet our baby Boat, Mim, one of the hire Mirror Dinghies and Flaming Galah, a home made steam boat which can be seen in front of the display panels. A fine glued clinker canoe from Goolwa wooden boats was on display but is obscured by the yawl in the shot above.

Flaming Galah attracted a lot of well deserved attention....

...but Comet won the heart of the kids!
